How is the AI Under Deck Ceiling different from others?
Our under deck ceiling is not a corrugated plastic system that a handyman can slap up in a couple of hours, which will leak and most likely will come apart in high winds. They are high quality systems that will actually work and hold up. Debris that falls through the cracks in you deck boards will be flushed out of the AI system. If you have the need to stain or treat you deck it will not affect the performance of the under deck system and is not visible from below. All of our systems are designed with ventilation and are suitable with all pressure treated lumber. We have a proven track record and our under deck roof is backed with a solid transferable warranty on materials & labor. We even have a concealed panel system designed for new construction or if you are having your deck resurfaced, which has the same features except the ceiling can be finished with wood to make a dry under deck area.
What makes AI Under Deck Ceilings better than the rest?
They Won't Leak!
Hundreds & hundreds of systems have been installed since 2003 and have held up to:
- Hurricanes Frances & Ivan in 2004
- Valentine's Day ice storm in 2007
- Over 2 feet of snow in 2010
- 60 mph wind gusts
We Guarantee it!
or we'll fix it for free
BUYERS BEWARE!
When researching companies that install under deck systems check:
What is the design of the product?
Does the panel shape hold debris on the joists?
What is the panel material?
Plastic or vinyl.
Not good for ice & snow loads.
Extreme expansion and contraction.
Aluminum.
Good material.
Will not corrode, but dents easily.
Galvalume
Best material
Will not corrode, strong, very dififcult to dent.
Are they a member of the BBB?
And what is their rating?
What is the warranty?
A good warranty on material won’t help you when it’s leaking.
Watch out for the catch phrase “if properly installed”.
Can you buy the product as a under deck kit put it up yourself?
These products typically don’t hold up in the long run.
Why pay someone when you can do it yourself.
Will it support ice & snow loads?
If you can remove the panels, what is supporting it in the middle?
Deep panels with more head room than competition.
If the panels are so deep you can't have more head room!
Is the system ventilated?
Under deck kits like Magnolia suggest a fan, and a dehumidifier.
Does the system have gutters?
If so, what size & are they seamless or pieced together.
How long have they been installing the systems?
Ask for a customer referral from the first year of installation.
Is it cheap?
As is always the case, in every market, you get what you pay for.
